About

I’m a Robotics Research Engineer at Technology Innovation Institute (TII), specializing in whole-body loco-manipulation for humanoid robots operating in dynamic and unstructured environments. My work bridges model-based methods (such as Nonlinear Model Predictive Control (NMPC), whole-body control, and motion planning) with learning-based approaches including Learning from Demonstrations (LfD), Reinforcement Learning (RL), and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to develop robust and adaptive robotic systems for real-world applications. I have hands-on experience with a variety of robotic platforms, including humanoids, quadrupeds, manipulators, and quadruped manipulators.

I hold dual MSc degrees with honors in Automation and Robotics and Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where I worked on quadruped loco-manipulation for search and rescue and on human–robot interaction. Previously, I completed a summer research stay at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and earned my BSc in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pública de Navarra, graduating as class valedictorian.

My background spans the full robotics stack, from custom hardware and embedded systems to high-level perception, planning, and control. I am passionate about building general-purpose robotic systems that seamlessly integrate perception, decision-making, and control to achieve intelligent and reliable loco-manipulation and to solve long-horizon tasks in real-world settings.
