About

Iโ€™m a Robotics Research Engineer at TII working on humanoid manipulation. My focus is on control and planning for whole-body loco-manipulation in dynamic, unstructured environments.

I hold a dual MSc in Robotics and Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politรฉcnica de Madrid, where I worked on quadruped manipulation for search and rescue and human-robot interaction. Previously, I conducted a summer research stay at Tokyo Tech and obtained my BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from UPNA, graduating as class valedictorian.

My background spans full-stack robotics, from custom hardware and embedded systems to high-level control and reinforcement learning. I have hands-on experience with traditional methods like NMPC, and Iโ€™m particularly fascinated by how learning-based methods can complement these approaches to make robotic systems more autonomous, adaptive, and robust. Ultimately, I aim to build general-purpose robots that can seamlessly coordinate perception, movement and interaction to solve long-horizon tasks in the real world.
